Frequently Asked Questions
What is Ramadan?
Ramadan is the holiest month in Islam, observed by fasting from dawn to sunset, prayer, reflection, and acts of charity. It is a time of spiritual growth, self-discipline, and gratitude, marking the month when the Quran was revealed.
Can I join if I’m not Muslim?
Absolutely! Our Ramadan experiences are designed for everyone, regardless of faith. Whether you’re curious about Islam or simply want to experience the spirit of Ramadan, you’re welcome to join.
How do I sign up for an experience?
You can register for any of our Iftar experiences, mosque tours, fasting challenges, or educational sessions by clicking the “Join Now” button on our website and selecting your preferred activity.
What do I wear for a mosque tour?
For a mosque visit, we recommend wearing modest clothing. Men should wear long pants and a shirt with sleeves, while women should wear a loose-fitting outfit that covers the arms and legs. A scarf for covering the head will be provided if needed.
Do I have to fast to attend an event?
Not at all! While fasting is an essential part of Ramadan, our events are open to everyone, whether you are fasting or not. You can still join Iftar, attend discussions, and experience the atmosphere of Ramadan.
Can I bring my friends or family?
Yes! We encourage you to bring friends, family, and colleagues who are interested in learning about Ramadan. Just make sure to register in advance so we can accommodate everyone.
Will there be someone to explain the significance of the experience?
Yes! Our events include guides and speakers who will provide insights into the meaning of Ramadan, fasting, and Islamic traditions. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and engage in discussions.
Is there a cost to participate?
No, all our Ramadan experiences are completely free! Our goal is to foster understanding, connection, and cultural exchange.
